BIOGRAPHY:

Tye has a generalized mood disorder. He has a dedicated interest in community building and upliftment in service of under-resourced and at-risk urban communities in Atlanta, GA. After graduating from the renowned college, GA Tech University, he created a non-profit organization named Make It Out. It was responsive to this aforementioned demographic and service focus. Since its inception, Make It Out's primary focus had been providing complimentary healthy food through recurrent food drives.

During and after COVID, Tye experienced significant difficulty maintaining the financial traction necessary to provide this public programming and had to discontinue them. Tye's immediate focus through Dreamcatching is to resume distributing healthy food with an emphasis on targeting sufferers of psychiatric conditions via their supportive hubs. Specifically, he would like to provide ongoing food drives to 5 of the most high-crime, dilapidated and under-resourced areas in Atlanta—Mechanicsville, The Bluff, Adamsville, English Avenue and Adair Park.

You can explore Tye's story in more depth and view video footage and pictures from his food drives in the 2025 Dreamers section.

Omari selected McClean Hospital as his donor recipient to receive 25% of his net profits.
